Please also consider joining a group to meet people and talk about anything that's on your mind, Hang With Friends. You might also want to look at Atheist Artists, Atheists who are Artists, Parenting Little Heathens, Sound Advice, Geek and Nerd Haven , Female Atheists, and possibly Feminist Atheists. After you've searched for topics of interest in "Groups" above and in the "Forums", don't forget to look at recent activity which hides along the right margin of the page all the way at the bottom.

I don't know about an app.  There a mobile version of the site, though.  There's a link somewhere around here that turns that on.  I'm not wild about the mobile version, myself, though.  I just use the full version on my phone, since Sprint's 3G is pretty good in my area.
