The Catholics in America are a bunch of liberal slackers who never pay attention to God, outside of mass on Sunday. They don't pay any attention to the pope or think he affects them in the slightest ... which sucks, since the money they give goes to support the monolith that is the Catholic hierarchy.

I guess Catholics in eastern Europe are sort of like the fundamentalist evangelical Christians in America, huh? At least the Catholics tend to centralize more. There are small churches freaking everywhere, in most cities in America.
