Thanks for leaving me the message. I haven't been active on this site for a while for a couple of reasons For one, I'm finishing up nursing school, and I find that I do best when I focus on only a few things at a time. Another reason is that I haven't been really engaged by anyone else yet in conversation. I have participated in a few discussions, but I they seem to peter-out pretty quickly. Nonetheless, I've only posted a few times, so my exposure is admittedly limited. I certainly would like to meet some kindred spirits though, and I'm not one to give up easily, so I see myself becoming more active on the list in the near future! Thanks again for the message.

As a happily married gay man (one of the fortunate ones who has remaned legally married after Prop 8) I have a partner who shares my Freethinker values if not my rabid personality. .If you ask the state of California, Brian and I have been married for about three years (since California refuses to acknowledge the 32 years that went before our "legal" marriage.
