Yah still can't get the picture I uploaded to be my profile pic. Any tips? I have tried different ways and have probably uploaded the picture 5 or 6 times now but the A is still there. Really didn't think I was this inept at these things. :(
Hi Ruth, Thanks for the note. Yes I will be back to chat with a group soon. I have to say the first time I was on here, I spent quite some time trying to upload a picture and still haven't been able to get that uploaded pic to be my profile pic. Will work on it now for a bit.
Thanks for leaving me the message. I haven't been active on this site for a while for a couple of reasons For one, I'm finishing up nursing school, and I find that I do best when I focus on only a few things at a time. Another reason is that I haven't been really engaged by anyone else yet in conversation. I have participated in a few discussions, but I they seem to peter-out pretty quickly. Nonetheless, I've only posted a few times, so my exposure is admittedly limited. I certainly would like to meet some kindred spirits though, and I'm not one to give up easily, so I see myself becoming more active on the list in the near future! Thanks again for the message.
You are absolutely right Ruth, with so many social network options, this one has lagged behind for being the newest addition to the family! I must say everyone has been super friendly, something I haven't seen anywhere else. Keep up the great job!
Aloha Ruth. Thanks for the invite but one reason I haven't posted much is just very busy with trying to keep up with all of my interests. My primary interest is in making miniature scenes (of a rather dark nature) and growing bamboo and trying to keep up with my yard and even sometimes my house. I am around and could get active during the summer when not as much is going on around me.
Having grown up to be the kind of person my father doesn't want me hanging around with, we have had no contact for over 10 years. Broken home doesn't really describe my history. Diced is a better word.
As a happily married gay man (one of the fortunate ones who has remaned legally married after Prop 8) I have a partner who shares my Freethinker values if not my rabid personality. .If you ask the state of California, Brian and I have been married for about three years (since California refuses to acknowledge the 32 years that went before our "legal" marriage.
