There are no words to describe the massacre!  I can't wrap my mind around such violence!! I sit here trying to think what else to say, but I just can't!!  My mind will not allow me to think!  I can't imagine the pain and suffering of the families!

Welcome, Tiffany.  There are good public schools and bad.  Church supported schools are, of course, religiously oriented.  If you can find a private college prep school, they are usually non-theist.
