On atheist nexus, you will discover that there are thousands of atheists who are finding connections on the internet.
I read recently that in the world, the largest number of religious people is christian, then muslim, then people without a particular religion, which includes atheist. They say that over one billion people do not beleive in a god. I don't know if that is true, but it is encouraging to hear about it.
You know your country better than I would ever know, but I do worry that by posting your photo, you might get yourself into danger. I have read about the government finding people who criticise the government. I also understand that giving up Islam is illegal in some countries and the punishment is severe. A lot of Americans don't post their photo, even though there is very little risk here for being atheist. You could replace your photo with another image and keep a unique identity, but it would be safer. Of course, it is your own decision, and Im sure that you thought about it before posting. It's something that I worry about. You are courageous to show yourself.
