Hello Hello Brent. I hope that I am not pestering you, but for some reason I feel compelled to give you some feed back on a person level. As I previously stated "I can not imagine how you feel. Even if we as humans go through a situation that is very similar that doer not mean either person reacts or handles the situation the same.However my Papa passed away and had the later stages of Parkinson Disease as well as Alzheimer Disease. Hr had chose to drink heavily the bigger part of his life which once these two very deteriorating diseases took hold played very much against him. My Papa and I were VERY close, closer than my father and myself so this affected me pretty hard. So even though I can not even pretend to know how you are feeling iI can relate. Time took care of what i could not. But somehow I have a GREAT guess that you are going to be A-OK
I am very sorry. I can not imagine. I do send you the deepest of thoughts that the time for your healing will be speedy. If you ever need to vent or just plain ramble feel free. I wish you the BEST of luck and look forward corresponding with you.
Thoughts of healing to you as you adjust to the loss of your father - it's never easy and as you say, we are never really ready, even when we know it's coming.
