Thanks. Having a bit of a tough time at work for refusing to sign the communal xmas card that goes out to various people (most of whom I don't know). Was told today that I wouldn't be "forced" to sign but that it would have been"nice" if I had. This after explaining that I was an atheist and that I  believe  sending xmas cards condones the pepetuation of the myth that is xianity. You would hardly believe that I have an equal oportunties employer who insits on diversity training for staff.

Well it's finals week, so this weekend is much needed! You have a good weekend as well

Hi Brent -- Thanks for the welcome. I'm doing ok. This time of year is usually a challenge but this year is a whole different level of challenging since I moved three months ago from San Francisco area to a very small town in MS....  I appreciate your cordial welcome.

Thank you.  I've already finished with one class and only have 2 left. So it's winding down.  My grandmother is a Methodist Minister and we always go to her house for Christmas day.  It's really funny because she took me to church every week when I was little and taught me about god/whatnot, but she was also the person who taught me to ask questions, and made me want to learn, which of course inevitably led to me questioning faith and religion.

Have you tried the smaller presses?  I submitted there and it was easier to get in. 

Thank you for the welcome!  I'm currently coming into finals week for the academic semester and things are hectic, but good.  I don't know about you, but I am so not ready for the impending 'holidays' with family.
