Thanks for clarifying. The reason I used the collective 'we' instead of the singular 'I' was because I was aiming for something inside the comfort zone of the reader. Hoping to rattle cages enough that maybe I get some folks to reconsider their stance on self-ownership. Sorry about misunderstanding your comment.
I have lost whole, complicated, entries due to the damn system selecting something and deleting it. Didn't know about the control-z, thanks. Since initially posting that, I submitted to the Borg, and was assimilated into Win 8.1. So far I don't see a difference from 8.0 except now it screws up some links. How much fun is that?
I know what you mean about how the responses can make you sad. It's disconcerting to see how many people are so wrapped up around utter bullshit. I also wonder why they're so afraid of anyone questioning what they believe that they have to deny that we even exist. Their "argument" that it "takes more faith" to believe in the big bang or evolution than it does to believe in Jesus, THEREFORE there are no true atheists is just pathetic. It's not all, "Oh these poor victims of bad programming" though. I'm reading a pretty disturbing book titled Religious Right - the Greatest Threat to Democracy by A.F. Alexander. There are tons of unscrupulous people out there raising billions of dollars and stealthily plotting to install old testament law that wouldn't be all that different from sharia law. If we don't collectively watch it, the dark ages could be back with a vengeance.
