G'Day Loren! This is Jaimie (aka Betty Valentine)...I finally remembered my password to this ancient account which hasn't been active since around 2009/2010..Ha! I plan to be online a little more frequently so I will catch up with you & your posts. Hope all is well! x.
I rather doubt that the same individuals will return, but undoubtedly those wackos will visit my door again. I don't really mind--I get so few visitors!
You never know about a Bigfoot coming around. Every once in awhile, there's a "sighting" of some unusual animal--cougar, wolf, even a bear (30 mi from me). Then, "it" disappears.
Thanks for the comment. I know Heinlein was prolific in his writings but I haven't read any of his works. Is there one in particular you would recommend as a start?
Admittedly, Obama said all the "right" things to the vast majority of his audience. It's a given. If "the love of god", etc., was mentioned at Hichens or Carl Sagen's funeral, I'm guessing the secular community would have been outraged. I'm just baffled by the irrationality of rationalities. Crazy.
Read your bio. Sorry you're out of work. It's not all bad if one can afford it! I listen to classical music all the time--Baroque my fave. And traditional jazz--Brubeck, big bands, piano. Some rock. I'll eventually get around to reading more posts.
Loren, I am really aware of your style because the things you write often jolt me, and you change styles in ways that read as spontaneous and genuine. I like that about you. Sometime your humor catches me off guard, or whatever style. And, whatever you do, don't change. Your naturalness feels like you read and understand what I need to read.
Thanks, Loren. Matt is a man that hits the mark more often than not. He is more level headed, doesn't have an agenda except to reveal historical facts and their consequences and reads the news with a critical eye. My kind of man! You too.
Thanks for the suggestion. I got a different browser working after fixing a previous issue I had had with one of the extensions that prevented me from using it as a default. Thanks!
I would do that if there were an options button, but there isn't. There's a +Add button at the top, and at the bottom the ability to sift through pages, but no other options or buttons.

Loren, fair observation. The solution rightfully comes out of conversation that includes accurate information and clear goals for each.
Loren, I agree 100%!
Thumbs up (to your JW visitor comment).

I had to google "boojums". There were several different descriptions. I took the N.Carolina one.
