Greetings, Pam! I notice you haven't been active at Atheist Nexus lately. <sigh> Sometimes it can seem a bit fragmented, with different groups for every interest. Please consider a group for socializing, where we talk about whatever's on our minds, Hang With Friends. :D You might feel more at home.
Pam, I live in Green Mountain, so we're almost neighbors. Do you work in Mitchell or Yancey Counties? I work in Asheville. Might run into you some day.
Thanks for making me your friend! I am pleased that you picked me. I read your summary above and churches condemning gay people has always been one of my major peeves with religions. I speak up to politicians every chance I get.
I am somewhat consumed with a major project, at this time, and consequently have not been participating at AN very much, but I will be back. Count on it!

Hi Pam, nice to know another atheist woman in NC. How far are you from Charlotte? I that the closest big city?
Must be tough being lesbian and atheist in the SOUTH...? And YES what kind of God would let children suffer??????

Hi pam, thanks for the invite. I used to work in Cleveland at Freightliner. I really miss that place. Well, thanks for the invite. Hit me up some time.
Hi
Welcome to Atheist Nexus with its thousands of good friends.
A group you may like is “ORIGINS” (Origins: Universe, Life, Humans, Evolution, Religion..... ) with its 120 discussions and numerous video films.
How to feel good. One discussion (over 65 posts) is "Proud to be Atheist". There's much to be proud and feel good about because atheists and humanists hold the intellectual high ground that is far removed from the pathetic superstitious god believers who are slaves to a controlling clergy and their imaginary beings.
