I am not looking forward to the next Christian holiday, Easter. I get tired of people wishing me "Happy Easter" and assuming that I believe like them. What do you say to people that give you these greetings? I think it should be the Zombie Holiday.

Since I was raised Catholic, the holidays are ingrained in my brain (and stomach), so I don't care what others call the day, so long as I get to eat a feast!

Pretty much the only people who say 'happy easter' to me are family members. I just nod my head in response. I do not think my family could handle a debate about their beloved christian holidays.

I second that motion to call the day Zombie Day.

I see Easter as a fertility holiday. Spring is in the air and we should all fuck like bunnies! Similarly to Xmas, I like to pick and choose which parts of these holidays I want to celebrate. I choose to leave Jesus out of it and worship Peeps instead!

The rituals and symbolism of Easter are so strange. I mean, the rest of the year, when a rabbit lays chocolate eggs, we call it poop. But for some reason on Easter we are encouraged to eat those "candies".
