Yahoo News reports on "Game show looks to convert atheists" to be run on Turkish TV
I am very amused by this but also saddened by the thought of how theists would react to a gameshow aimed at persuading theists to renounce their theism.

I would love to go on that show. I'd relentlessly refer to their gods as "imaginary friends", no matter what the context.

Unfortunately, I think it will be a setup. They'll put a bunch of wobbly unbelievers up there who really don't know how to defend their non-belief, brow beat them for an hour or so, then watch one or more of them fall to their knees in epiphany. I don't expect a fair contest in the marketplace of ideas.

lol, they're putting 4 different religious leaders in a room with 10 atheists... anyone foresee the obvious turnaround here?
One of the Atheists is going to ask each one of them why they believe each others religion is a false religion... demand to know which one is the "true" religion... and finish it off with "When you understand why you don't believe in each others religion, you'll understand why I don't believe in any of them."

I'd love it if this show would backfire and the atheists would be converting the viewing audience!
