And as to generating electricity, get a magnet, a length of wire and a compass and I can demonstrate both electricity and electromagnetism in a matter of a couple minutes.  Whoever wrote that electricity bullshit deserves to be bitch-slapped, preferably by an electrical engineer!

Yeah, the electricity page is heinous.  "No one has ever heard it, observed it, or felt it." While I realize thunder is the the sound one hears from the super heated air caused by a lightening bolt, I have heard its effect.  And, I've actually seen lightening, which means I've seen electricity. And, lo and behold, I once touched a live electrified fence.  I'd like to introduce the author of this crap to the experience of feeling it.  Maybe he can use his tongue to lick my 220v dryer connection, with his bare foot on a wet concrete floor, when I turn on the  appliance.

That's crazy.  I'm an electrician and an electrical engineering student so I found the page on electricity especially heinous.
