Y'all made me laugh so hard with the mental pictures! And Sam, your shirt is awesome. Did you make it or did you get it someplace (link, plz?).
I think my mother-in-law would have been equally naive about it, while my mom would have pretended she never saw it and try to bleach it out of her mind.

I can believe it. I was wearing a T-shirt that said: "Closets Are For Clothes." A lady in her 60s pointed at my shirt and chuckled, "I need to get my husband one of those."
