What is the religious purpose of life?

I'm writing something and I have to state what religion says about WHY were here.  How does God answer that? Why am I here?

So far I've put down: 1 to worship god. 2 to exert your free will and be judged by it.

It's been so long, I can't remember what the religious purpose of life is.  But I do remember all those stupid "Got Purpose?" signs everywhere.  Can someone enlighten me.

Purpose as conceived by the religious is an expression of an infant intelligent life form and its cosmic ego and arrogance which in its infancy demands solace, love and care.

We're here to:

  1. Serve god
  2. Worship god
  3. Do god's will
  4. Be god's bitch and maybe go to hell 'cuz that's how he planned it

That may not cover it, but it's enough to make me ill, so I think I'll quit there.

It is to continue this meaningless soap opera existence eternally then and there to flatter his vain and trick ass.
