Twitter is currently taking votes for the best contributors in various categories.

In the area of 'health', the quack and anti-vaxxer, 'Dr' Joseph Mercola, has taken the lead over Australian doctor and skeptic, Dr Rachie (sister of Atheist Nexus member and well-known skeptical blogger, Podblack). Podblack (aka Kylie Sturgess) is also the co-MC for the Global Atheist Convention in Melbourne.

Dr Rachie is a leading light in the atheist/skeptical community in Australia and your vote for her would be much appreciated. Vote here.

I followed the link, Felch, and the links in the links. Thanks all for voting for Dr Rachie.

felch, I know that there was a votebot scandal that disqualified Mike Adams. However, he still has an immense number of followers who eagerly lap up his BS; I guess it is the fact that anyone can read a NaturalNews article and still take him seriously that scares me.

And don't forget to vote up Mercola in the quackery category:

I am incredibly frightened about the state of the world given the popularity of Mike Adams and "Dr." Mercola. Go Dr. Rachie!

OK, I assume no one followed my link. Both of these slimebags got busted for using vote-bots to generate bogus Twitter accounts to vote for them - that's a large slice of their "popularity". Even with the cheating, they're still losing. They're not just frauds - they're absolute moral bankruppts to boot.

Thanks Simon! Dr Rachie has just surged into the lead - but we still need as many votes as possible to secure her position. Let rationality rule and quackery quaver.

There is a lot, lot more to this story. The quacks have been caught with their pants down rigging the ballot and are unhappy. Mercola as more than just 'a' quack, he's the king of the dunghill.
