U.N. attempting to put a stop to criticizing of religion.

The U.N. is trying to make it a crime to criticize religion, and forcing member states to abide by that law, in violation of our own constitutional freedom of speech.

It appears that only the Muslim religion is indicated. Pastafarians may not say anything "blasphemous" against Islam but Muslims may say what they like about Pastafarians. I think that's how it works.

I am wondering if medical science will be shut down in Muslim countries because it cannot be practised effectively without resorting to doctrines which Islam may consider blasphemy.

I have yet to see a working definition of the "blasphemy" which the UN is trying to outlaw. Without this anyone can cry "blasphemy" about just about anything that offends them, whether realistic of not.

Can anyone provide a definition of the banned activity?

Does this mean that respect will have to be given to Pastafarians and the Flying Spaghetti monster? And what about those who worship funny shaped rocks and images of Warren Harding on cheese sandwiches?

How wide is the net of what will be defined as "blasphemy"? What about science which seeks to question religious beliefs? What about science which comes to the "wrong" conclusions? What about the publication of evidence which is contrary to religious "truths"? What about secular education?
