The Science of Good and Evil (London, April 11th, 2011)

I am going down to London to go see Sam Harris in an Intelligence Squared debate the "reverand" Dr Giles Fraser, Canon Chancellor of St Paul's Cathedral on the topic of where do our ideas about morality and meaning come from?

 

The last time I went to one of these it was the now legendary Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Fry Vs Anne Widdecombe and Archbishop John Onaiyekan of Nigeria - and that was kick-ass!

 

This should be just as good.

I don't think so, but the next day he is travelling to Oxford to do an event with Dawkins which probably will be on RDF.TV

I'd love to have gone to both but I'll be content to see just one.

Is this going to be on TV? I love these debates. Harris with the eyebrow ftw.
