Please remember the homeless this time of year and all year long. It is winter and it takes very little to be a humanist to those with nothing. A smile, hot cup of coffee or an old blanket to someone who is cold. The homeless are our brothers and sisters and in these uncertain times we could be next!

That is well said and true, but there are few homeless around here. Maybe in St. Louis.

I knew of a man once who said he took in a homeless woman, but he had to take her back. She cried and was angry and just didn't act right. Maybe she had issues. Maybe he only had sex on his mind.

The biggest help for the homeless around here is Larry Rice in St. Louis, Missouri. He even has fights with the state in order to continue doing what he does.

Thank you Kent for your thoughtful comment. The homeless numbers never seem to shrink. Yes, they are our sisters and brothers. Peace
