The End of Canada's Secular Youth "Missionaries?"

Katimavik (which means “meeting place” in the Inuktitut language) was founded in 1977 under the Pierre Elliot Trudeau Liberal government.  This year, the Harper government is cutting all funding to the program.

To be honest, I didn't even really know what the program was about until Sunday when I heard an excellent report on CBC radio's C'est La Vie about it.
