Teenager's Faith At Odds With Locator Tags In School IDs

I found this on NPR. It concerns a locater chip in school i.d. cards. The student in question states that: "The mark of the beast is what the Antichrist is going to use so he can track the people." Hmmm. I might not be up on my fundamentalist theology, but isn't the Antichrist supposed to possess supernatural powers, when he/ she arrives? If s/he has to fall back on technology, then maybe s/he wouldn't be that much of a threat. Anyway, here's the link: http://www.npr.org/2012/12/17/167277175/teenagers-faith-at-odds-wit...

She may have a point. And, no, I don't mean the mark of the beast, anti-christ. magic ju-ju idiocy. But, how far should a school be allowed to intrude on the privacy of an individual student? She might be doing the right thing, albeit for the wrong reason.

Another example of the illogical mind of the believer.
