Swinburne University of technology donates computers to Kasese Humanist Primary School

Kasese Humanist Primary School has acquired 5 sets computers which have been added on the other three computers we initially had at the school. In addition to this the school has acquired a computer Scanner and a Data Projector and funds making all these happen was a donation to the school from Swinburne University of Technology based in Australia.

The Projector will be used at the school as a learning aid to cast videos and presentations on the screen wall. It will also help Kasese United Humanist Association in organizing events like workshops, debates and also generating an extra income for the school.

The Kasese Humanist Primary School is working jointly with Swinburne University Faculty of Media designs in a project termed as Curly Questions Project which entirely aims at engaging the children at KHPS to ask any science question and receives answers from Swinburne University students.

Swinburne University aims at uplifting the computer infrastructure at the school and has provided funds that assisted in the renovation process of the computer laboratory,equipping of ventillation items,computers, scanner, printers and a projector.

On another note, one of the lecturers who is coordinating with me in this project owns a business firm called Online Galleries are also going to donate to the school project with Cameras, Computer accessories , Educational Dvds plus some funds.

On behalf Kasese Humanist Primary school, i thank the management of Swinburne University of Technology and Online Galleries for their support and remain fully committed to ensure the donated items and funds will put into good use in our efforts to ensure we expose our students to modern technologies in the field of learning.

I thank James Marshall for all his efforts in mediating onbehalf of Swinburne University and remain looking forward for a long lasting partnership.
