Tom Thompson said: "...no single piece of information which is guaranteed to cause a theist to start questioning her world view. Dogmatic beliefs are insulated against reason." Thanks for that very succinct statement, it certainly bears repeating over and over again.

We already, know, of course, that as soon as this animal's name gets fixed into the biology text books evolution deniers will be asking for *the* link between that animal and the ones on "either" side of it. Theoretically, there is a finite number of such linking animals, but finding them all, at this late date, would be quite a trick.

I didn't watch the video as I have probably seen a hundred like it. The title has a misleading statement though. There is no missing link.

In my experience there is no single piece of information which is guaranteed to cause a theist to start questioning her world view. Dogmatic beliefs are insulated against reason. Even so, it is good to educate people about the actual state of knowledge versus the perceived state of the ignorant.
