Last year I started a fossil sleeve on my right leg, but it isn't finished yet. I hope to add to it with another fossil in the next couple weeks but I'm finding it difficult to pick a suitable fossil. The problem with a lot of fossils is while they might be significant finds they are far from aesthetically pleasing for a picture that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I wanted an icthyostega or acantrostega a couple of transitional fossils between fish and amphibians but most of the ones I find look like distorted smears. I thought about taking a break from my right leg and starting a general science sleeve on my left leg. I was thinking of centering it with a couple proto-humans learning to use tools ad as the tattoo spread it showed the advances of man through various things discovered in science. This is just an idea but if anyone is reading this some advice would be appreciated. I would definitely want a 3D carbon atom showing all the electrons orbiting, a DNA helix spiraling through the tattoo, and maybe something to do with computer science. I saw a picture someone put up here with a few hominids with clubs that they had tattooed to their forearm and thought that was awesome...whoever that is, nice ink. Maybe instead of a sleeve such a tatoo would look better on my back. I would probably want to lose like 15 pounds before such a tattoo is laid down lol. Also I fear of getting too many and not having women find me attractive so, that's a problem I have to remember.

Oh, before I forget. Don't worry about if women will find you attractive or not because of how many tattoos you want to get. Do it because you want to do it. And there are lots of chicks out there who dig tattoos and who has it themselves. I'm really digging the DNA Helix though!

I really like the DNA helix spiraling through the tattoo idea.  What is your take on genetic engineering?
