It will be fun to see what happens with the site managers lose interest and quit logging in. Then all of the letters will get sent. Imagine, all of those people having to explain why they didn't get raptured. There was a rapture rupture.

I'd love to get someone to break into the chapel and do a switch on one of those burial phones. Then they could text message 'from the beyond'. That has the makings of a movie.

There's another site just like that (the URL escapes me) for the same purpose, but they advertise loud and clear that they are atheists... and that way you can be assured that your letters will get sent out because THEy certainly aren't going to be raptured.

I thought that was hilarious... and brilliant! :-)

Well, I just checked and it doesn't ask for money to add to the registry, or do any visible kind of validation... I wonder how many email addresses and names would need to be generated and how fast to bring the system down? lol

In answer to your technical question: as I understand it, they have the computers programmed so that the letters are sent out if none of a certain collection of people logs in for a period of about a week. It is assumed that if nobody logs in that the rapture has taken them away so the computer can send out the offensive letters to those left behind.

This is yet another way that such people separate the stupid from their money. *sigh*
