Comment by Alan Perlman on September 21, 2012 at 8:49pm Pascal never convinced me for a moment, because of the sneaky arbitrary choice of Jesus. I happen to believe in Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth. If I'm right and she blesses me, I get rich. But I can't waste my life on her when there are so many other gods, so next I'll bet on Thor and hope he strikes down my enemies. See how arbitrary it all is?
