Comment by Michel-Camille Bordeau on June 9, 2011 at 8:40am Good point booklover, excellent point. But as you know, there is an invisible babysitter out there, one that is a source of unjust(ify) anxiety for many kids. Kids don't need help to see invisible men watching them, monsters under the bed, etc. Unfortunely, theist parents give a name to that boogey man, use it to establish parental authority, and more. Sad but true, the invisible man is very visible in kids mind. And if you coach them to fear the boogey man and to angst about it, instead of helping them conquering it with reason, you are abusing them. Also, and that could be the biggest problem, you raising a new generation of invisible man fearing peeps, who will soon be parenting without reason(ing). Do read the interview and the book if you have a chance, and share it with friends, family, and (theist) foes. Have a gurufree, godfree day my friend.
