Easter has nothing to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is a Pagan festival honoring the beginning of spring, the resurrection of life on earth. A Pagan Goddess called 'Ishtar' is where we get the name Easter, not from the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter was a day that commemarated the resurrection of a god called 'Tammuz'. It is he who was believed to be the only begotten son, not Jesus, son of the moon goddess and the sun-god. Easter is celebrated each year on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. It is celebrated with rabbits and eggs. Tammuz was eaten by a pig, so a pig must be eaten on Easter Sunday. Easter and Passover is not the same. One has nothing to do with the other. Don't fall into the misconception what the Christians says about Easter. May you be blessed by the god and the goddess that brought about the first Easter. So Mote It Be.
