OH NOOOO! Half my former high school is GONE
I found out the other day that someone I've known for almost a year went to the same high school I did. And we met fairly far from that school.
Well, today, she told me that half that school no longer exists. The school I went to was-- was-- comprised of two buildings, the "lower building" and the "upper building" (the lower building was actually physically lower than the upper building; they were on a hill). Turns out the lower building got knocked the fuck down to make space for a spiffy new extension to the upper building. OK, so the students get a nicer school (let's just say the lower building was a .... uhhhhh .... a fucking dump), but THERE'S NO MORE LOWER FUCKING BUILDING.
That sucks!!!

Actually, the lower building is not a very good place in my memory. It was a very very dark time in my life. But good or bad, it was a time in my life. Stupid progress *Homer Simpson impression*.
