Not alone! At last!

I've only started using a computer and the Internet this year, so it's been a pleasant surprise to discover that I'm not alone. Not that I live in an overwhelmingly religious society (Denmark) but I meet almost nobody who is a real skeptic/atheist. The vast majority spout things about "there are more things in heaven and earth", usually thinking they are quoting the Bible - it's Shakespeare - and without knowing the other half: "than are dreamt of in your philosophy, Horatio." Don't be narrow minded is the point. The various versions of "new age" thrive, claiming access to "the ancient wisdom of the Celts,.........." You probably know what I mean. The modern versions of snake-oil are also profitable concerns. If anyone proves that they don't work as "natural remedies" then they just get renamed "dietary supplements" and return to the shelves. Being a skeptic is sometimes a labour of Sisyphus.
Which brings me to my next, and self-promoting, point. In an attempt to show that we do have "soul", I've started my own website of POETRY! Did that stop you reading? Why?

I do my best to put that right, so have a look and see. All poems are free to use for atheists and skeptics, in journals or on sites, so get cultural!

You didn't see that I messed up in my comment as well? I should have written " spelled with an A not an E." Spelt is a grain of some sort, I think. They make bread from it. I do that all the time when typing. I'll type "no" for "know" or something or "two" instead of "to", not because I don't know the difference, but because I just type too fast and my fingers spell out the wrong word.

I just have to get the last few nights at work slept off so my brain starts to function again. I didn't know the Poe poem and really like it. He moves up my "must read" list.
