So the whole Manny Ramirez scandal makes me wonder: Why would a guy refuse to get a vasectomy for fear of diminishing his manliness if he's willing to pump himself full of steroids when he knows damn well that it could shrink his 'nads? He was busted for hCG use. So I'm guessing that he was trying to minimize the damage of his previous steroid use.
I guess if you're a professonal jock and you have that much to gain, then it's worth the risk. And many of the firefighters and law enforcement officers at my health club are obviously 'roidin' but I've read that it helps them do their jobs better as well.
Very few women like the overly pumped up look of the body builder, so it's really just a man-impressing-man thing, and not that likely to get him laid, really. But a guy who gets a vasectomy would impress a lot of women with his desire to take responsibility for himself, any you'd think he'd be more likely to find a sexual partner.
So, who's the bigger man?

And yes - I know this is a very sexist little rant, and I know many men get vasectomies and have no doubts about their virility, but I know for a fact that the others are out there, and so do you.
And this has nothing to do with whether or not Manny has had a vasectomy - it's just a generalization about a certain type of male that I encounter once in a while.

Sorry Ms. Amanda, I was being sarcastic. I absolutely believe it should be the responsibility of both partners.

Should be but for now the reality is , its the womans. My son is being raised to hopefully be responsible about such things, and now there is the shot for men. We will see how it works out in time. Maybe when our son turns 15, he will get the same present his sister got when she turned 15.
As a former Marine and current guardsman, I have been exposed to much male testosterone, and in my view its all about getting laid!!
