I see that there is trouble afoot in India with yet another 'holy man' abusing his power.

But don't forget, it's what God does all the time. He kills, rapes, threatens, bribes, cheats, deceives and manipulates; all for his own aim.

The concept of a god is as flawed as the human beings that created it.

How many children have to be raped? How many women have to be raped, oppressed and turned into baby-making machines? How many men have to be killed before we realise that there is no God and that people have made this all up to seize power and hold on to it?

What is wrong with religion? EVERYTHING!!!

Although the Bible does say that God comes first, the New Testament condemns 'sacrifice'. If anyone does suggest that you should be sacrificed then they are going against the words of the New Testament. Tell them that.

It might be that you are reading too much in their actions but it would be better to check it out. I normally wouldn't worry but unfortunately anything can happen within religion. I hope everything is all right for you. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself.

If they try to tell you that you should do what you are told, just remind them that Jesus stood up to the authorities and you are following his example.
