Limbaugh: If You Believe In God, You Can't Believe in Climate Change

“What about God’s creation called a fetus?” Rush Limbaugh asked on his radio show Monday. “See, in my humble opinion, folks, if you believe in God, then intellectually you cannot believe in manmade global warming.”

“You must be either agnostic or atheistic to believe that man controls something that he can’t create,” he continued. “The vanity! These people — on the one hand, ‘We’re no different than a mouse or a rat.’ If you listen to the animal rights activists, we are the pollutants of this planet. If it weren’t for humanity — the military environmentalist wackos — the Earth would be pristine and wonderful and beautiful, and nobody would see it. According to them we are not as entitled to life on this planet as other creatures because we destroy it. But how can we destroy it when we’re no different from the lowest life forms?”

“And then on the other end, ‘We are so powerful. And we are so impotent — omnipotent that we can destroy — we can’t even stop a rain shower, but we can destroy the climate.’ And how? With barbecue pits and automobiles, particularly SUVs. It’s absurd.”

Pat is right about Limbaugh but we should all remember that he is the "voice" of the Republican Party.

No better person to roast that brown dick sucking pig. Carlin was the absolute best - his demise was a sad day

On a more cheerful note, enjoy George Carlin's rant on Limbaugh :)

Rush Limbaugh comments on whether he thinks about what people say about him.

Damn, SB. We weren't that far from each other growing up. I'm originally from Kankakee.

Wow, Pat, interesting bio of Limbaugh!  I grew up about 100 miles northeast of St. Louis.....  probably a lot of similarities.

Hiram, what amazes me is that anyone pays attention to Limbaugh.  It reminds me of my parents continuing to watch Lawrence Welk decades after his show went off the air.

It's frustrating that he promotes such illogical drivel.

There's times I think that if it weren't for hunting limits under the wildlife laws, people like Limbaugh would be extinct. Interesting thing about Limbaugh.  He's from Cape Girardeau, Missouri - about 20 miles from where I live in Illinois.  It's interesting to talk to people who knew him growing up. Basically a loud mouth, drunken coward who would molest women while drunk in a bar, and when threatened with an ass beating, would remind everyone his grandfather was a federal judge.  Needless to say, he was coddled and pampered his entire spoiled life, avoided military conscription due to a pimple on his obscenely ample derrière, and took no responsibility for his actions, given that his grandfather and cousin (Missouri Supreme Court Justice) would cover his worthless ass.

I suppose ol' Limburger would also assert that nuclear war wouldn't result in making the world uninhabitable, either.  It's just a matter of scale, right?

Stupidity at that level should be illegal ... [sigh]
