Comment by Jeremy on September 5, 2011 at 12:03am Yes, find a hobby. It does not matter what it is. Astronomy, photography, painting, chasing mailmen while dressed as a dog; so long as you enjoy it, and there are groups of people out there who meet up. Almost all the happy coupled people I know met through something like that.
Hey Sentient,
thanks. I will keep moving on. You're right. Life does have a way of throwing this stuff at us. Just knowing you read my blog makes me feel better because I know that there are people that care. Thanks.

I know nothing about dating but maybe someone can recommend freethinker match dot com or other atheist dating site? (but be careful of course.) There was some talk that eharmony is not all that atheist friendly. Have you tried going to a CFI or atheist club meetup in your town?

Can't offer advice on the dating game, I met my husband in high school, got married 4 years later, and we've been married 23 1/2 years. lol.
Just wanted to offer support to you!

Hello fellow atheists! I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims. I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.
I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists". I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…
