If asked which is superior, the true Christian will say Dogma precedes Evidence; the Scientist will say every idea is born, sustained and dies because Evidence is greatest... excuse the small rant.

I don't disagree. Miller is a little softer on religion than I would be... than I am, when directly asked. Religion - as in the organized belief in some form of the argument from authority, supernatural or not - doesn't address different issues from science... it doesn't address any issues of any kind. Science can address any question that addresses things that happen in reality, using evidence to test claims. Religion can't answer anything, because it's just made up ad hoc by its "leaders". Religion tests nothing, discovers nothing, helps nothing.

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone.
