Internet can cause cancer (in Jewish bodies only?)

The Internet causes draught and terminal disease – so claims a new marketing campaign publicized in the ultra-Orthodox community and aims to curb use of the world wide web. I guess the Jewish Science Institute (JSI) worked for years doing actual research to make such a bold statement. If actual scientist made such bold untested statements like "the internet causes cancer" they would not only be a laughing stock but their careers would be over. Linus Pauling the man who worked out the secondary structures to proteins in the 60s later in the 80s claimed that vitamin C cured cancer. That effectively ended his serious scientific career as it was not tested and he was simply making statements on a few observations. Vitamin C is an excellent antioxidant which neutralize free radicals which are particles believed to destroys portions of DNA. Such damage could lead to cancer, so in a way a healthy dose of vitamin C may be a good preventative measure. However, a preventative measure and a cure are two different things. This statement about the internet causing cancer in Jews should have been the deathblow to the career of whoever said it.
