Why "Idiocracy" didn't make to theaters is beyond me but there were some sociopolitical things going on behind the scenes.

I have the DVD of "Idiocracy". It's great but scary at the same time, as it's pretty close to being a documentary film.

Yes, Mike did the voice of Hank Hill. You should meet him in person. His humor is deadpan to say the least. He use to be a bass player for Anson and the Rockets featuring Sam Myers. I met him back in the early 90s when he was playing with Doyle Bramhall Sr.
After one of his gigs he was telling me about a deal he was working on with MTV to do some cartoon shorts between videos. B & B was born. :-)
