Well, a new low point in the "consumer economy" was experienced yesterday at the Valley Stream, Long Island N.Y. Green Acres Walmart. Some patrons who had waited through the night for sales at the store on Black Friday (named for it's ability to boost retail earnings into the black) trampled 34 year old store employee Jdimytai Damour (who later died) during the rush to save a few dollars on jeans, vacuum cleaners and flat screen TVs.
When the store opened consumers "tore the doors off their hinges" when they moved through the entrance!
Were these "retail patrons" Godless atheists, or may be Cannabis users trying to score their "herbs"? No. Guess again.
I'll bet they were just some regular God fearing, property destroying, alcohol using tax payers anxious to save some cash during a recession.
Did I mention these were adults?
Next time, get out of their way......!
What a sad day for Humanity and the family of the deceased.
Life is more valuable than consumer goods, from an atheist perspective.
