If sodomy can, why not incest? If there affectivity, why you can not eat her own mother and call wedding?

Also, the link between sodomy and eating one's own parents is tenuous at best.  I've never heard of a case of matriphagy even among Sodomites.  There are far better things to eat at a wedding feast.

Time to break this one out again ... and so what if I'm being repetitively redundant:

If I could change just one thing, it would be to dissociate the idea of faith from virtue—now and for good—and to expose it for what it is: a servile weakness, a refuge in cowardice, and a willingness to follow, with credulity, people who are in the highest degree unscrupulous.

Loren, they not only do not have original ideas, the ones they borrow from other forms of bigotry and discrimination are, on and the same, ignorant  ideas. I'm old enough to recall the civil rights movement of the 1960's. "If you allow race mixing and interbreeding between whites and blacks, what's to stop incest, bestiality, and perversions of every kind?" Sound familiar? Just substitute "gay" for "race mixing" and you have the same old tired irrational rationalization for hatred today that you had 50 years ago. And, it spews from the mouths of the same group of people that it did 50 years ago - good Christians, one and all. Just ask them, and they'll tell you they are.

Which is why I subscribe to the sentiment expressed by Bill Maher. When someone tells me they are a "good christian," they want me to believe they occupy some high moral ground. What I actually believe is that they are delusional, and follow an inherently immoral doctrine.

Apparently, whoever posted that mess forgot about some considerations defined in genetics, something called, "reinforced recessives."  There is a less sophisticated term for this business as well - INBREEDING - and it gives rise to all sorts of lovely little effects, such as:

  • Hemophilia
  • Tay-Sachs Disease
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Phenylketonuria (which three of my wife's kids have!)

And that's not remotely a complete list.  What this sounds more like is one more attempt by some idiot theist to stand in the way of gay marriage by presenting a false comparison.  I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, though it would be at least amusing if one of them actually managed to come up with an original idea in defense of their beliefs.

Yeah, I know, asking too much.

This is possibly the strangest blog title I've ever seen.  It might be due to bad translation.  Using the link and back translating, it looks like you are saying that if gay people can marry, then why not have a mother marry her son.  One could also argue that if same sex marriage was illegal, why not make all marriage illegal.
