i need an intelligent non-theist girlfriend
Somehow i keep getting myself involved with theists that eventually ends in ruin...bleh. where are all the intelligent females that i'd love to surround myself with? haha.
this blog may seem shallow as hell, but ending relationships that don't work out due to differing opinions about what non-sense is bums me out.

You might need to do what happened between my husband and I. He just asked me the right questions about my religion that made me realize how fake it is. He wasn't trying to get me to see things his way. He was trying to see if there really was any rational answers out there that made any sense. So when he would ask me his questions and I wouldn't know the answers, I realized just what religion really is about. I took it pretty hard when I realized it was all fake and all my so called spiritual experiences that i thought I had had were just something that was created by my mind. But I've never been happier. Living a religious lifestyle is just too stressful.

it works fine for a lot of people. Not all theists are closed-minded. you have to be careful (as do I. My gf is moderately theist) how you approach the issue and i waited many years before enough trust was built in order to start deep conversations. People are just shallow like that. Finding people who are as openminded as most atheists is a luxury, I'm afraid.
