I was sitting at my desk earlier bored so I decided to entertain myself by going on DOS and ftp-ing myself to NCBI's genome database. I used the command line to get chromosomes 2a and 2b from the chimp (Pan troglodyte) and chromosome 2 from the human genome. I then ran the two against each other on BLAST to compare them for sequence similarties. Then I got a cookie, and diet coke.
