Upon my return from my "vacation" (see previous post), the weather conditions were a complete reversal of the past two weeks. Back to reality.
But, it was a good respite, as short as it was. Plus, I'm two weeks closer to Spring. Need to think about how I'm going to plant my garden, although that's two months away.
I've been busy this week already. Babysat all day. Did "run around" chores another. Met with a funeral director regarding cremation plans for my father--not dead yet, but at 95, we're looking at the inevitable. As of now, he's in fairly good health--new meds and all.
I'm spending today planting individual seeds in the little box containers you see at the nursery store. That's for my sustainable farmer children, preparing for the spring. I'll be in a heated greenhouse which is good, since it's now 10 degrees outside! Busy days. I'm off.

Comment by Sentient Biped on February 21, 2013 at 11:42am Glad you have a greenhouse to work in! I've often thought about building one too. This year I have a "mini-greenhouse" as a raised bed with a hoop supported top, the top is row cover. It seems to be working out for cool crop seedlings, just starting.
