Attn: Adherents of Hinduism
This research is designed to examine the faith vs. science "reconciliation theories" of Hinduism and other religious belief systems. That is, how do believers of Hinduism reconcile the tenets of your faith with science-derived knowledge that may be, or appear to be, incompatible with those beliefs?
Please contribute to this research by articulating how Hinduism (or your personal interpretation of it) may be reconciled with natural science, as represented in the "Reasons for Skepticism" section of the free e-book The Reason Revolution: Atheism, Secular Humanism, and the Collapse of Religion. This short e-book requires only 20 to 30 minutes to read.
Several reconciliation theories, primarily Christian in nature, are contained in the current text of the book. Find those theories, and instructions for preparing your own, by clicking "Reconciliation Theories" in the table of contents of the e-book.
As you will see, the e-book presents a science-based argument for atheism and secular humanism. This research offers an opportunity for you to present an alternative view, drawing on your religious tradition.
I intend to publish a supplement to the e-book containing the results of this research, which will hopefully lead to greater mutual understanding among people of all faith positions, including atheists. Thank you for your contribution.
