Atheist Nexus

The World’s Largest Coalition of Nontheists and Nontheist Communities!

I haven't done much here as of yet (besides wasting too much time customizing or as the kids say "Pimpin" out my page! haha!) but I can already see this place is far superior to the only other website I'm on, Experienceproject.com. A site supposedly welcoming all people, of all different perspectives, but it's not. If you are liberal, left wing or a non theist you are discriminated against with random post removals and other fun bullshit things. I strongly recommend against joining them, it's become a huge joke really. The idea was nice, but they can't seem to allow that little thing called freedom of speech, which to me is CRIMINAL. It should be known as the Religious Experience Project. Or the, If We Approve Of It Experience Project. I like the former.

So this was just a post for the hell of it, I'm sure a rant will ensue in the next few days. I'm waiting for my Pro Choice Atheists group to be approved, then the fun will begin! I'm sure there are many other things to do on this site, so I'm off to see what those things are. Thank you to my friends for showing me this site and also for joining it, I think here it won't be so difficult to simply state an opinion. Hurray!

Love- Your favorite Agnostic Pantheist -- CaptainHotPantsPicard-- I'm on your side!! lolz.

Nice!! This is a great place for it, especially considering all of the people that can give help in the area of getting that doctor at least called out(if not by the medical profession, by tons of angry people) for her actions. Good to see you Cap'n!!! ;-)

Yay! I'm glad to see you as well missy! I mean, number one ;) hehe, I took that story off of EP and plan to put it here once my groups get approved.

Hello Lacey!!! I'm so glad so many of you guys came over here! This seems like just the place we've all been looking for, part of what I went to EP for in the first place too. I remember the story about your run in with that idiot doctor and it STILL makes me angry to no end!! Anyhow, glad to see you here!!

Thanks for your comments Larry! I have experienced this BS from pro life activists and its angers me to no end. As a woman I believe I have a choice in my birthcontrol and everything to do with it, I had a run in recently with a doctor who refused me my BC prescription because of their religion. When I tried to find a Planned Parenthood in my area, there wasn't any, but I did find a very active Pro Life organization whos goal it is to wipe out planned parenthood completely. I will have many rantings about this hypocrisy and discrimination. Thank you for you comments again, I totally agree.

I agree--this site is awesome. It's lovely to be among so many like-minded and open minded people. No one has tried to convert me even once so far, which is a daily occurrence on EP!

Thanks again for letting me know about this site. I really dig it. It's nice to be among friends!

Hahaha! So I'm not the only one who listens to both? Finally, I've met my match lol ;) <3

Lacey, i heart you.
I'll also be transferring a lot of my stories/blogs.
I went through and saved all mine a couple of months ago when i realised that EP Admin had the power to completely delete me and all my writings without notification... Like they did to Owlafaye.

P.s. I LOVE a playlist that contains both Alice in Chains AND Britney Spears, hahaha. We are too alike, girl.

V- Thanks for being my first comment! Now, I've been meaning to ask someone, can we make groups that pertain to other, random things, not necessarily Atheism or anything tied to it? Or are we supposed to stay within the general topic? I'm still getting a feel for this place, so far, it's WAY better than EP. I can say things without worrying about religious zealot trolls or a huge backlash and then subsequently, the erasing of my posts. I saved my stories, I'll be moving them here once I find out if I can add different groups!

Dave- I enjoyed your posting! It was my first comment. Thank you for yours! :) Cheers, enjoy the tunes! (beware, you may hear Britney Spears LMFAO)

Your page is great. I'm cranking your playlist on my headphones (Alice in Chains right now). Websites like this might not bring about the demise of religion but will hopefully help make it secondary. (Thanks for your comment - you are right.)

Welcome to A/N and looking forward to your rants. ...Je-e-e-e-sus Christ...

It's amazing, isn't it? It's like this site has all the best things from EP without all the BS religious idiocy. It's like here we can get on to other things, without having to explain over and over why their desperate and vain belief in their chosen god is retarded. I think a lot of people are leaving EP. I only regret all the time and writing I did there. Guess I'll be transferring a bunch of stuff over lol.
