To avoid feeling powerless about all the crap going on in the world, I sometimes turn a blind eye to the 'news' of dreadful events. I feel some shame in that, but I have enough problems dealing with my little life, and I do what I can to promote atheism, free-thinking, reason, science, critical thought, wonder, etc.
So, I don't know all the details about what's going on in Iran, except I know it's bad bad shit and I wish it would stop, but I don't know what I can do to help.
However, occasionally something catches my attention that gives me hope. At least I know someone is on that ball, taking the lead, and striving for something better.
This video inspires my sense of wonder. Maybe I can help by spreading the word.
