A couple of years ago there was a billboard campaign by some local fruitcake theists. It depicted a man, arms outstretched nailed to the crossbar of a cross (who looked remarkably European for a 1st century middle eastern Jew). Tasteful rivulets of blood twining artfully from his head and hand wounds, and below, in Old English type set read "He loves you this much"
Holy shit! I would think a box of chocolates and a dozen roses would carry the message a little better. Something about a man suffering an agonizing, drawn out, painful death just doesn't say love to me.

But of course they did, I expect no less, mess with their mythology and they'll protest. Some of us should get together next time THEY billboard-post a reminder about a dead magician with magical abilities. Let's not forget one thing as a lesson here, times-are-a-changin' and for the better!
