Signing Atheists
I was going to set up a group for Deaf Atheists, but figured I'd probably be alone in here if I did that so I figured I'd open it to anyone who knows sign language or even interested in learning it.

Easter Greetings In The Locker Room
Locker number 3 belongs to a woman who reads her bible on
breaks and lunchtime. Tonight she posted Easter greetings on her
locker. The card said "God's blessings at Easter" and the for god so
loved the world that he gave his blahblah verse.
Well!
I thought about it for a couple of hours. Should I let it go? Naw. I'm in locker
2, it's right there, in my face and it's offensive. I could create a
little collage of newspaper articles to post on my locker; some
pedophile priest stuff, christian militia stuff, Hindu suicide
bomber...? I could post some atheist quotes, my new avatar...
The manager and supervisor were nearby so I decided to bring it up to
them. I said, "There's some religious propaganda on the locker next to
mine and I just want to make sure it's going to be alright for me to
post a rebuttal on my locker". Mgr. asked what kind of propaganda and I
told him it was a bible verse. Super says she knows who it is. Yep.
It's the same gal that passed around religious flyers at xmastime.
Super says, "It's gotta go". The card was gone by lunchtime.
That was easier than making a collage.
Locker #2 woman has not made eye contact with me.
Locker #5 friend of #2 gave me a wicked glare.
It was a very good day.

It's not allowed in a postal facility. They did tell her she could keep in on the inside of her locker. I'm fine with that. She has made a point to say hi and been pleasant so I guess we're cool.

I want to have some "inspirational" bible verses removed from a coworker's desk area. We have a shared office and at her desk on the wall are two religious plaques. Ugh.

That would bother me too. Alot of people would look the other way. It gets me mad that Religious people can get away with that most of the time.

You could still make the collage for fun and to have on hand in case of theistic emergencies!
