I have recently encountered a member here who refuses to post comments of mine in his blog. The comments were related directly to his blog and did not contain incendiary or irrelevant remarks. I believe he refused to post them because they were sound arguments that defeated his own, and he was tired of being made to look foolish.

I would, therefore, like to ask all who read this to boycott and unfriend S.F. Zeigler

I would also like to ask you to post anyone else who has given you similar treatment here. I believe the nexus should be an open forum, where all of us have a fair chance to have our voices heard. I would not blame someone for refusing to post remarks that are non-constructive, but this was not the case. Unfortunately I did not save my original posts, so my intellectual efforts are now lost to history, and however scant a contribution they may have been, I find that to be a criminal waste. If you want to see the callibre of my comments, to compare what was being blocked, please see Zeigler's post here, where my latest comments were censored, but please refrain from commenting or supporting his efforts in any way until he changes his tactic to allow people to express their constructive opinions. Thank you all, and don't forget to list other who have likewise infringed on someone else's freedom of speech.

I just realized you can't actually un-friend people on this site. Weird. Careful who you friend then, lol, you'll be stuck with them forever.

No, we had a discussion or two elsewhere, but I think he's fairly new to the nexus, or I just havent seen anything he's posted before the last few weeks. I didn't even feel like we were feuding in that blog, although he apparently had a different take on things. He kept saying that I was repeating myself, but I was really trying to elaborate my point in different ways because I didn't feel that he was understanding what I was saying. Turns out he just didn't want to hear what I was saying because I was disagreeing with him on several points, but I guess all disagreement sounds repetitive to him, lol.

I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt when I saw that he was moderating the comments to his blog. I was hoping he was just trying to make sure he had a chance to respond to comments before a lot of them piled up, but now I know better, and I will simply not comment on his blogs in the future. By the time he started refusing to post my comments, we were so far into the discussion that the idea of starting a new blog was inconvenient, plus I didn't save the two posts that he didnt publish, which made me kick myself a little because I thought I was making some good points in them.

Most people respond to censored blogs by just not commenting. Some have also written alternate blogs about the same subject where they are not censored. Have you and Z been feuding for awhile? I might have stumbled upon it much later.

Oh, and by the way, Zeigler, it's called libel when its in print, not slander, moron.

Lol, Zeigler has issued a complaint to admin about me "slandering" him with this blog post. His defense is that he only censored one comment of mine. It was two, but the number is really irrelevant. A constructive thought process has been censored. I put time and care into those posts, and they were on-topic comments that I had every right not only to say, but to have heard. Otherwise, why post a blog that others can comment on. If you only want to receive the comments that you like, then you are a willfully ignorant megalomaniac who would be better off talking to yourself in a mirror so that you can always get the responses you're looking for. How's that for slander, Zeigler? Good luck with your complaint. You'll need a miracle for it to fly. I am completely within my rights.

I support this fully. I have also been censored by SF Zeigler. I will no longer have anything to do with his blogs. I recommend others do the same. Thankfully, he is thusfar the only person I have encountered on The Nexus who has done this. It speaks well of this site, in general, that this is a rare occurence. I hope an example can be set that will disincline others to follow in his misled footsteps.

Come together one and all

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

War on Christmas in May

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…
