One of the few times I wish I was a German Citizen. Cancelling my tax would have saved me the trouble of having to fill out the paper work, and pay for the postage, of excommunicating the Catholic Church out of my life here in the US.

Makes sense to me. Your ISP won't continue providing services if you don't pay them. Same for the power company, phone company, etc. Why should the church?
