ARREST THE POPE is the catchphrase in London newspapers

I wrote Arrest the Pope six months ago. Now Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and others are calling for his arrest in the Huffington Post.

My reasons go further back but are we're talking the same language. Dawkins wants to put Benedict XVI in jail for facilitating child molestation. I say the charge should be crimes against humanity and it's the institution that's criminal. .

I don't suppose we could start a movement to burn the pope at the stake.

It's estimated eight million people were tortured and slain in this and other horrendous manners. Most were women and many were girls under 12.

Cardinal Sardano apologized for the atrocities and said it was a "sad episode in church history." That doesn't quite make it.

Thanks, Staks. I'm gonna ask why there aren't any priests on the National Sex Offender List.

Something is amiss.

Actually that story isn't accurate. Dawkins and Hitchens support the actions calling for the Pope's arrest, but they are not involved that those actions.

Also, you should join the facebook group calling for the Pope's arrest.

Whoa, how exciting. Though I doubt this will work, I give Dawkins and Hitchens my full support. The pope deserves to face the consequences. He is human, no matter how much he may think otherwise.
